Yamashita’s Gyokuro “Yamashita-Jirushi”
The first step into gyokuro, from the Yamashita masters.
This tea is one of Maiko Tea’s most popular items. It is made with good quality leaves and, when prepared, produces the typical sweetness characteristic to Gyokuro. The sweet flavour is accompanied by a very subdued and mellow astringency. Preparing the tea with hot water will not create a bitter flavour.
