Maiko Tea’s selected organic teas are approved by Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries and certified as JAS Organic. We pride ourselves in offering organically grown green tea of the highest quality.
The tea leaves are cultivated with special care in the mountainous region of Kirishima, in the prefecture of Kagoshima. They are manually harvested and manufactured with dedicated precision. The production of these teas is limited to 10 kg a year, and therefore they are highly sought after. Please enjoy the best quality, pesticide-free green tea organic farming has to offer in Japan.
