Uji, a city in Kyoto prefecture, is considered the "capital of tea" in Japan. Although this tea is not one of our highest grades of Gyokuro, it has an excellent purchase value and is a good choice for daily drinking. Even if prepared with hot water, this Gyokuro still retains a pleasant sweetness.
